After much time ubuntu has worked correctly at starting and when restart after a time out locking now it happens that when ubuntu starts and appears login window with user name if I type my password and after "enter" nothing happens. Neither start session nor appears a message for wrong password. Cursor remain blinking.
Now when I reach the window login on X system type Ctrl Alt F1 and open a terminal in which I can login without any problems and then start X server with startx, but everytime this reaches time out again I go back to terminal and after to X server but in this way the previous X session is lost and all restart from the beginning
My ubuntu is trusty 14.04.3 LTS , KDE 4.13.3 , kernel 3.16.0-76-generic , OS 64bit
Could someone help me?
