Ubuntu SSD

Hi,

I want to install Ubuntu 14.04 on a new ssd. So if you had some advices in order to keep a good health of the ssd I would be gratefull

Which brand/model SSD? They vary in capabilities. How are you connecting it? Internal SATA, external USB3, etc. USB3 has trim problems which maybe the newer drivers can avoid.

You would also need to provide more details on your situation. Is this the only drive on the computer? Is this going to be the only operating system? Are you using UEFI or MBR?
