Hey folks! I'm a first time poster on these forums! I usually update my kernel from Ubuntu's kernel repository. I'm currently running 4.6.0-997-generic built on the 23rd of May. I'm attempting to upgrade to version 4.7 but I keep getting an "Error getting socket" message at boot. This happens on newer 4.6 kernels as well. Is there a reason why this is occurring and is there any way to fix this?

Here's a picture of the error:

Did not have an issue like this one in the 4.6 cycle or before.
