Hi ubuntu forum,

I have the following hardware:
- AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core Processor
- AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
- Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3

3 Days ago and before I uses Debian. In this time Grub freezed like (don't know exactly) 50% of the time at
"loading initial ramdisk". The other 50% of time the system booted properly.
Then I changed somthing in the Bios. Then Grub freeze 100% of the time at "loading initial ramdisk"

I couldn't solve the problem so I decided to try Kubuntu (Kubuntu 16.04 LTS).

I had no Problem to use the live-CD version and also installing it made no problem.

But now I get a black screen after grub showed "loading initial ramdisk". The screen is completly black.
When I try to boot in the recovery mode grub freezes most of the time at the statement "Linux ....." (I forgot the version, I will correct it later)

I read that this maybe is a probler with the graphics card driver. But I wasnt able to start Kubuntu with the nomodeset option.

I would appreciate any help :)
