Dear Friends,
I accidentally touched the cursor while adjusting scaling, and now the screen in unity is unusably large, as I can no longer scroll down to the scaling settings at all, and I mean wildly large. I need a way to reset it in a terminal. thank god I have cinnamon to do this, but I really need to fix unity from outside of unity, or a reinstall will be necessary.
so get scaling in unity back to normal in tty 1? or from a terminal in another de?
actually found, by broadening search http://askubuntu.com/questions/533390/how-to-reset-scale-menu-size-back-to-default, and used the GUI.
still hate GUIS for settings ;)
please help.
best,
m
