Firefox sometimes locks up completly for minutes and often outputs lots of error messages. I am not sure the issues are related, but I do observe repeated error messages like the following appaearing in the console from which I started firefox:
(plugin-container:5056): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'com.canonical.desktop.interface' is not installed
[32258] WARNING: pipe error (69): Connection reset by peer: file /build/firefox-01C0AB/firefox-46.0+build5/ipc/chromium/src/chrome/common/ipc_channel_posix.cc, line 459
Does anybody know what I can do about these error message?
I think that the "locking up" issue may be related to pages containing flash. Not sure however because firefox does issue any warning about unsupported plugins.
