Hello,

I am new to linux / Ubuntu. I recently installed the latest version of UBuntu 16.04 via USB on my windows 10 laptop. Ubuntu is now working fine connected to the internet and everything. Unfortunately now i have lost the ability to dual boot back into my windows environment and all my software/ applications are left there. Can anyone help..

I think i may have installed it over the windows partition on my C Drive but being unable to access i do not know how to check if i have completely lost windows now.

You can run this from your install or from live installer.
Post the link to the Create BootInfo summary report. Is part of Boot-Repair:

Do you still have the Windows choice in the grub menu? If so, maybe all you need to do is turn off secure boot.
