View Full Version : Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 - Google/Chrome Flyout menu

Hi all,

New to the forum, and also new to Ubuntu - I installed on a "dying" laptop, it is really 1 year old, but stopped booting, hard drive error (Windows 10), and now everything works! Really enjoying.

I used Unity for a bit, but loved the very clean look of Gnome, and reinstalled that version and think it fits my needs and workflow, so love it, but not I have a concern/question.

I installed Google Chrome - all signed in etc - and works like a charm, but there is a flyout menu, or quick launch menu that is holds the Google services (Chrome, Hangouts etc) on the bottom left corner of my screen, and for some reason it constantly steals my Mouse focus, so I have to keep moving my mouse - not an issue, more of an annoyance.

I am sorry if this has been asked already, I have been searching for a few days now, and cannot find it, so not sure if this is isolated to me or if others has been having a similar problem. Any assistance would be helpful, if you need a screenshot, please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Sam.
