Hi,
I updated from 14.04 LTS to 16.04 and now I can't get past the splash screen. I had this issue before when installing Xubuntu initially but I solved it by using nomodeset boot param and updating to kernel 4.4. I have both these after the upgrade and still can't pass the splash screen.
Hardware Specs:
Skylake (6th generation) i5 6300HQ
Nvidia GTX 960M
Any help would be greatly appreciated
