Hello, I just registered because I don't know how to fix this problem at all. I have an Acer Aspire V13 V3-372-723H. I bought the laptop in January. Of course, Windows was on it and it took me some hours to find out how to install Ubuntu 15.10 on it. I didn't like the taskbar on the left side with Ubuntu 15.10. That's why I went to Kubuntu. Now with the new Ubuntu version this problem is gone. The problem is that I never found out how to install the WLAN driver (QCA6174). I googled and found out it has to do with the ath10k driver. So I downloaded it and copied it to the /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA6174/hw3.0. I reboot the computer, but it's still not possible to see the wlan.

iwconfig says:

enp2s0 no wireless extensions.

lo no wireless extensions.

I'm a beginner with Ubuntu, so please be friendly, ok :-)
