I've just purchased a new laptop, and I'm trying to setup Ubuntu, or really any Linux distro on it. However, I'm having a lot of issues.
Its a new laptop, with UEFI boot, and comes with Windows 10.
I'm able to boot up the live usb, but my laptop keyboard and trackpad are unresponsive. If I plug in an external keyboard & mouse, they work.
Also, the wifi doesn't work.
I looked into the demsg logs, and they mentioned something about the wifi firmware not being found.
This is the laptop: https://www.asus.com/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/ROG-G752VY/
It would be much appreciated if anyone could help me out with this. I'm forced to use Windows right now, and it sucks. :(
Another issue, when I go into 'Try without installing', the desktop loads up, but nothing else does, ctrl + t is unresponsive, and I see a lot of prompts for 'Ubuntu has experienced an internal error, leave closed /relaunched'
Please help.
