Media Catalog/Database needed

Ideally, I would like a app/database to catalog my media files. I have DVD-R with mp3, .avi files. I would also like to catalog my DVD titles. I would like a web-based system if possible.

I have no experience with this application but I did a search on Sourceforge.net (http://www.sourceforge.net) and found VCD-db (http://vcddb.konni.com/?).
It runs on Apache, IIS or Zeus, using PHP5 and MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, IBM DB2, Oracle or SQLite.
