View Full Version : [gnome] Part of desktop is hidden until I change resolution

I'm running Ubuntu Gnome 15.10 and I have enabled icons on my desktop.

Immediately after login, part of the desktop icons are hidden; only the icons in the upper left part of the screen are visible (about 1/4 of the screen). The rest of desktop only shows the background image. I can clearly see a half cut-off icon in the middle of the page.

If I change the resolution, all icons are back.

Anything I can do to debug this issue?

Thank you in advance for any suggestion.

Please let me know if I have to provide additional informations.

You just answered your own question. Make the change permanent.
