Hello,
I'm trying to write a simple GUI for an ARM processor running Debian linux (BeagleBone Black) using Qt, and I am having a very difficult time getting the code to compile. I have compiled the same code using my host machine (x86_64 architecture, Ubuntu 14.04), and the resulting program runs properly (it is a big button that says "Hello world"). When I try to compile use an ARM compiler, it fails to compile. Here is what I have so far:

I've been playing around with different versions of Qt, and I've gotten different error messages. At work I have Qt 4.8.6, which tells me i'm using the wrong instructions, which leads me to believe that the code did not compile using ARM instructions or something like that. I can update tomorrow morning when I have access to that computer.
I'm sure it's something simple, like I need to install something, or adjust a configuration file, but I'm having a lot of trouble figuring it out myself.
