Hi,
I have a new(UEFI) HP laptop with win 8, then I installed ubuntu along side it, where the windows where it was the default one to boot, and I had to do SHIFT+RESTART and choose ubuntu for grub to show up.
I really really don't know why, but after the last time I started ubuntu, windows just DIDN'T BOOTED UP.
I tried many times to reapir it with the "boot-repair-disk", yet it never showed up. heres the boot info link:
