Hello everyone,
I have this Toshiba Chromebook 2:

I am looking for a great tutorial (preferably one I can print out) for how to get Ubuntu single boot on this Chromebook. I have google'd this but see a lot of outdated and vague tutorials. I don't want to screw up my system.
I have already scratched off the write protect sticker, but still need to open it up again to place a piece of electrical tape on the area because it is still bridging because of a metal component.
Other questions are:
Which Ubuntu-type distro/other linux distro is best?
Will HDMI out work with Ubuntu?
