New to Linux. Unity 15.10 Sound keeps mutting...Is there a fix?

Hello,

I just installed 15.10 Unity Ubuntu on a laptop and while most things are working, the sound keeps slowly dropping to 0 and then muting. I can turn it back up but it seems to turn itself off without any input from me. Is this a bug?
