View Full Version : Dock always on top?

Hi friends,

I recently installed Ubuntu Gnome and I'm loving it so far - expect for one small quirk.
With Dash to Dock enabled, the dock seems to sort of crop up everything above its topmost border (Figure A), which is pretty annoying and just looks plain bad in my opinion.
The only way to fix this seems to be by enabling autohide on Dash to Dock, which gives me a full screen, but no dock unless my mouse's at the bottom of the screen (Figure B).
So, after finding no solution for this anywhere online, I turn to you good people: how do I make the dock always apparent without it cropping my screen (making it look like in Figure B)? (<tl;dr ;))

Any help/suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Thanks to all helpers in advance :)
