Ubuntu 15.04 is stuck with classic theme after trying out other Desktop Environments

After trying GNOME, KDE, LXDE, Openbox(windows manager) and other DEs
The Unity DE was rendered unusable so I removed GNOME and reinstalled Unity
now Unity is stuck with the classic theme

I can't take a screenshot. opening the keyboard settings crashes the app

Ubuntu 15.04 reached end of life Over a month ago and is no longer supported. Time to burn and install an ISO of 15.10.
