Hi,
I am running Ubuntu Gnome 15.10 on a Lenovo Thinkpad W530.
The last week or so I have had daily hard crashes on my computer. I don't know what caused it, but my suggestion is the kernel upgrade to 4.2.0-30. The reason for me saying that is I have not had issues after booting up with an older kernel. On the other hand, I can't force the issue, so it might just be a coincidence.
What happens is that all power to the computer are cut. No pre-warning, no errors, just abruptly powers off. After a few seconds the computer starts up again and boots into Ubuntu as it should.
I don't know how to troubleshoot this kind of errors, since I can't find anything in the logs (doesn't mean there isn't anything there though.....)
Anybody have a suggestion on how to troubleshoot?
