i3 bar with conky not rendering JSON

Hey!
I am trying to use conky as i3bar. I managed to get .conkyrc run in the bar and referesh every 2 seconds as i wanted.
But the JSON part is printed out not the result and not rendered correctly. Why would you think this is happening ?

I have seen this with conky 1.10
"apt-cache policly conky" will tell what version you are using.
I have remained with version 1.9.0 due to what you are seeing.
