I tested ubuntu-14.04.3-desktop-i386 and the same version of lubuntu and xubuntu on a netbook acer aspire one kav60 italian with 1gbram and all of them 3 versions are working with cable, and they don't recognize the wifi hardware. how I can enable the wifi? I would like especially to activate xubuntu or lubuntu, that are mroe quick and using less ram.

Have you already determined the WiFi works? Let's say, with the original Windows OS? And are you sure it isn't switched off (Aspire One usually has a slider for WiFi)?

The reason for this questions is because all WiFi cards in all Aspire One models and iterations are supported. Yours not working most likely means it's either off or defective. No software will solve either.
