I've installed Ubuntu 14.04 on my Fujitsu Lifebook U745. However the trackpad does not work at all. The trackpad is an Elan with the driver Elan 15.12 (taken from old windows installation). The Keyboard doesn't work correctly either. When pressing keys, they take much longer to react, and sometimes doesn't even pick up on a keypress. at other times the keys appear to stick down (not physically) so you could end up with a seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeearch term like that. It makes it impossible to work on. I've also tried this with an install of Mint, but I have the same problem

Anyone have any ideas? Is there an updated driver I can get for these devices?

Hi, welcome to the fora.
How does it work in a live boot of 15.10?
