I'm installing ubuntu-14.04.3-desktop-amd64 (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64 bit) on Toshiba Satellite M17 Laptop receive attached error.

Kindly confirm what software needs to installed for Toshiba Satellite M17 Laptop

Hi,

Your specs are what I was worried about.

You might be able to run lubuntu (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/releases/14.04/release/).

Other software like Puppy (puppylinux.org/).

You need i386 (32-bit) instead of amd64 (64-bit), obviously. Your CPU is 32-bit.
That's exactly what the error message told you.
