View Full Version : my pc is not booting and goes directly to bios

What can i do ?? after several new install of ubuntu and windows 10 ..i think i delete some system partition .

Now i i have freeshly made installatioon of windows 10 and lubuntu 15.10 ...but when the pc starts goes directly to bios ...


what can i do ??? ..i also have the boot-repari cd of ubuntu but even if i correcting the boot entries ...its nothing happens when i restart

All PCs 'go directly to BIOS' upon boot, whether the OS works or not. The BIOS is embedded in the firmware of your motherboard.

Could you please describe what happens in much more detail?
At exactly what point in the boot process does it stop? What exactly do you see? Pictures? Text? Describe them.

goes to bios setup utility ...and thats all ...there nothing u can upon that point ...it does not detect boot disk or something similar ..

Select the boot tab in the BIOS setup and post an image of that. Did you install both windows 10 and Lubuntu using UEFI?

Noticed your system date is back to 2009.

Likely your cmos battery is toast.

i manage to fix it ...reinstall windows ..everything ok ...

now i got to install lubutnu in dual boot ...difficult part ..
