Hi All,
I've recently installed Ubuntu 15.10 as a Dual Boot with Windows 10, and when I went into Ubuntu and installed everything (including the Graphics Driver), everything was still much slower then I would have expected
My specs
Intel i7 5930k
2x 2tb Samsung Evo 850 SSD
1x 1tb Samsung Evo 840 SSD
4x 4gb Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4 2400 MT/s RAM
1x Titan X GPU
Asus Rampage V Extreme Motherboard
Ubuntu is currently installed on one of the 2tb SSDs (I will be installing a small, 120gb SSD at a later date to dedicate to Ubuntu though)
As you can likely see from those specs, performance in Ubuntu should be near instant to perform a lot of actions, but I am just not getting the performance I expect
Can anyone thing of any drivers I may need to install to get everything working as it should be?
EDIT - I'm not sure if it's even worth mentioning, but I am using a 4K monitor, but this never causes any performance issues on Windows
