I am using Ubuntu 14.04, however, I am accessing it through remote desktop connection which uses MATE desktop. I have installed R and RStudio both. While R is running good through command prompt, RStudio is not. On opening RStudio an empty frame opens which will close in few seconds and the program stops running from the system. However, when i checked the same on the machine directly, RStudio is running fine.
So, is there any problem with running RStudio on MATE desktop? If so, is there any way how can I make it work?
