Hello everybody,

I installed Ubuntu 14.04 today and because I already had a bit of experience with Tails I jumped right into it without reading a tutorial. I used the Universal USB Installer from pendrivelinux.com to prepare an USB stick. I installed Ubuntu and clicked the option to use LVM. Everything was fine, but I had the problem where I can't get past the login screen (e.g. http://askubuntu.com/questions/454576/cant-login-to-ubuntu-14-04-after-upgrade). I tried everything but couldn't get it to work. Then I decided to install 15.10 and also looked up a few tutorials and wanted to set up the partitions manually. This is where I need help: When I want to click "New Partition Table..." I get the warning, that it is "In use by LVM volume group ubuntu-vg".

How do I remove LVM to remove/add partitions?
