The Gnome display settings are lost on a restart. There is already a solution here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2305134), but I don't quite understand it and it doesn't apply to my situation. I have two displays on my desktop, but I want the default to be the HDMI port ONLY. Can someone please explain this to me a bit better? Here is my xrandr output if it is needed:

I am trying to mount a remote FTP server through SSH. I can do everything fine through gvfs, but for some reason it mounts the remote user's HOME directory instead of its entire filesystem. Is there a setting on either machine that will allow me to mount the remote machine's root filesystem by default with gvfs?

INFO:
My machine is Ubuntu GNOME 15.10 with the latest updates.
The remote machine is elementary OS Freya (GNU/Linux 3.16.0-55-generic i686), probably with it's default shell.
