Early this year I bought a regular PC with no Windows license, and put Linux on it myself. Did you have to get this sys76 PC shipped across any oceans?

Shipped in two days. I live about a 12 hour drive from the company. I'm North of them. I used to build my own PC's. Now days I'm too old to tinker and I just want thinks to work, hence System76.

it is hard to beat stuff that works out of the box with a good warranty. i have built my last few desktops but now you can order custom built desktops like what you bought and be good to go.
the price seems to be within reason depending on what you want installed.

Nice Keyboard :D

Thanks :D. It's an Avant Stellar keyboard, bought it about circa 2005. It has a vertical row of f1 through f12 keys on the left side as well as the usual top row. 100% mechanical keys. Best feeling keyboard ever. Old school, has a Ps/2 connector. They don't make it anymore, the company was bought out by another company. There are other mechanical keyboards out there, but mine is built like a battle tank and it should wear out sometime in the 31st century. Cost me $190.00.
