Open in terminal bug

I've gnome 3.18 installed and when I need to log in as root , anytime I use the right click nautilus-open-terminal the terminal opens without the PS1 command and I'm left with a prompt of sh-4.3
I've tried putting export PS1 in bashrc and sourcing bashrc in /etc/profile but nothing works
