Solid Edge 8 Installation!

Hi, I'm not super advanced with ubuntu and linux all together but I get how to move my way around. I am a student of drafting and design and I downloaded this program and I need to install it... I've tried loading it on wine and it won't work. Also I tried booting up an Oracle VM. Although when I attempted to install a windows vm it would only allow me to install a 32 bit version!!! I assure you I have a 64 bit version and computer of linux :cool:

You should start a thread in either the Wine or Virtualisation subforums according to whichever method you use to try to get the app to run. I had a quick look at appdb.winehq.org but didn't find anything promising, so it may not be possible to use wine for this.

This forum is for questions regarding installing and upgrading the *buntu OS itself.
