I have this problem:
I have multiboot on a ultrabook, Win8.1 and Xubuntu 14.10(+kde). I turned off linux and booted Win for short time.
Next day linux doesn't stared well, and the only solution has been to launch a reconfigure graphics command, that allowed me to reopen linux (for a while). In that boot I was with Xfce, and in restoring kde I upgraded to 15.10.

Now I have three boot options:
normal
upstare
recovery mode

for both 3.16.0-24 and 3.19.0-15 kernels, but only upstart for the older is working.
Which could be the problem?
