I have upgraded my Kubuntu machine from 14.04 to 15.10 last week. And after that i not able to boot the machine.
It starts up and first prints

udevadm trigger is not permitted while udev is unconfigured

then goes into a slow infinite loop of mdadm error of create group disk not found.

I have tried generating init image again as mentioned on this thread.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1567147

I even installed a new version of kernel (Started on 4.2.017 and now it is on 4.2.018) but this is not helping.

Any suggestions on how to move forward.
