There I was, trying to find the tribal origin of Ubuntu using Google and I came across this site.

Interesting, because as far as I can tell this does not have Mark Shuttleworth involved anywhere...

Oh, and regarding the word Ubuntu - Wikipedia says that it is used all over Africa.

I saw that, and as Booysens Reserve is a suburb of Johannesburg (and as I was always under the impression that Ubuntu was a Zulu or perhaps Xhosa word - the tribes further to the south than Jo'Burg) this prompted my search in the first place.

I was very surprised to see that there was such a high-powered educational charity with the same name though...
