Ghemical 3.0 works pooly after upgradin to Ubuntu 15.10

I am a long time user of Ghemical. But after upgrading to Ubuntu 15.10 ghemical version 3 installed with synaptic package manager is working poorly. The ghemical launcher has lost the ghemical icon. starting gemical with eithe the launcher or from terminal window usind the ghemical command, produces a window where new molecules cannot be edited and old stored gpr files open in only gray scale images. Other buttons work erratically, a molecule opened from a preexisting gpr file may be centered or rotated, but freezes on zooming.


Ghemical is VERY important to me, Can anybody please help?
