Ubuntu 12.04 lts here.

On Facebook, I would like to delete accounts I once had, but I want to keep my main account.

Googling the net and searching facebook answers, all the info tells one how to delete their main account.

As seen in these 2 screenshots below, I want to delete the accounts: Michael McCoy ..., Michael McCoy P.
I want them to stop popping up every time I click that little upside down triangle.

More info: Michael McCoy has not been published it shows when I click on it. Michael McCoy P. looks like it is in initial stages of being setup when I click it.

I want to keep the accounts Michael Piziak (my main account), Naturalists (my community page), and Oak Run Road (another community page I have).

Any help is appreciated.

Michael

I don't use FB but know a lot of people who does and it's the first time ever I see it framed that way, as a "main account" - implying there are "secondary" accounts or what??
As far as I can see they're all different accounts that happen to belong to the same (real person) user. As such, you should login in each one you want deleted and follow the procedure.
Is there something else and am I being dumb and not this question?

You are correct, one person can have secondary accounts and even community accounts.

I have clicked on the 2 accounts (secondary) that I did create a long time ago, but I don't know what to click to make them go away forever - or as you said, I don't know what procedure to follow to kill them.

It's not that big of a deal, but I would like to clean it up a bit and get rid of those old secondary accounts from showing up each time I click the upside down triangle.

Much thanks for you for your intelligent reply!

Michael

These are not secondary accounts you are showing but pages.

You cannot have 2 accounts, it is against FB rules.

4. Registration and Account Security
4.2 You will not create more than one personal account.

Actually. You can have a community page on facebook, such as my Science community page at:
https://www.facebook.com/sciencenaturalists/?ref=hl

You'll notice under the name of the page, "Naturalists" it says "Community.'

You can have business accounts and all other types of accounts on there besides your personal account page.

Cheers

Michael

Also, when I click "settings" and "remove page" I get the screenshot below and I can't find the option to remove this particular page.
