I upgraded to 15.10 and now cant boot

Hi, I am having an issue with my computer not booting after an upgrade to 15.10. It gives me a splash screen then crashes and displays what i assume is a list of shut down procedures. I tried booting into safe mode, but fsuk and all that say there are no errors. I can get to a tty screen & log in that way to a prompt but have no networking and don't have any clue what i could do to fix this issue. I tried updating grub but that didn't work either.
any help would be appreciated !

I think your best, and perhaps only option, will be to try a fresh installation from the start.
