Dual boot uefi ubuntu 14.04 and kali 2 lvm encrypted

Good morning all, what would be the proper partitioning and installation if I wanted to install a dual boot of ubuntu and kali on my uefi computer with lvm encryption? It's simple to install side by side without the encryption but has to be manually done for encryption. Any help would be great.

Any ideas? I tried a few more things and I still result with either a "no boot device" or no option in grub (even with rebuild) for one or the other.

I do not know LVM nor encryption.

I would think it just would be a lot easier to install kali to a flash drive and boot it when you want.
