installing Nvidia driver 71.86

I am setting up a old computer with Lubuntu 14.04.3 with a Nvidia Riva TNT2 M64 video card and I am trying to install the driver 71.86 but I get the error

/lib/modules/3.13.0-65-generic/build/include/linux/version.h does not exist
how can I fix this error or will this old video card work fine with the new video drivers?

Old Nvidia video chipsets are not supported by Ubuntu past version 8.04 (maybe earlier?)
