Curious - Question about the 3.16 Kernal update/upgrade.

This question is about a 64 bit install I did a while ago...and a 32 bit install on another PC.

Our home PC is the 64 bit install. The 32 bit install is on a PC that I have running the Plex DLNA app.

The 32 bit PC just had some automatic updates that included the newer 3.16 Kernel. However, my 64 bit install still has not had this happen as of yet.

Do I need to do a manual update/upgrade or will the new auto update take care of this soon.

Just wait a while and the update will probably appear on the 64 bit OS as well.

Don't try to update the kernel manually or you may end up breaking the auto update system that works fine at the moment.
