I'm using the default Adwaita theme in Gnome.

After I enabled the global dark theme in Ubuntu Gnome 15.04 and then disabled it again, some window title bars are still staying dark gray, while others have been restored to Adwaita's default white.

Any idea why this is? How can I fix it?

Thanks in advance for any help. ;)

You can log out the session and log in again. If it is not enough you can reboot your system.

Thanks for the tip. Actually, I figured out what was wrong: I had the Pitch-dark extension installed from https://extensions.gnome.org, and I had forgotten to disable it...
