I have made a (small) Running Ubuntu Linux 5.04 on Zepto Znote 4200 Howto on my web page: Link (http://znote4200.linux.dk)

First of all I owe a big thanks to Spif for posting a (very) substantial part of the guide in this thread: HOWTO: Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG / Activating Intel Pro/Wireless 2200BG network card (http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=13576)

Second you should be aware of the fact that - for some odd reason - you need an external monitor to be able to see what's going on during the installation of Ubuntu Linux on this specific laptop.

Third I would love to recieve comments - either here or on email.

That is one sleek guide. I hadn't even heard of "Zepto" (http://dk.kelkoo.com/b/a/ps_11199172/113501.html) but its nice ^_^ .

Hi :p

Henriette, by typing linux vga=771 on the boot prompt, the screen will work during the installation. Also, the iwp2200 firmware and driver is not needed in Hoary. Acherhk will do the job ;-)
