Focus / Bring existing window to front if associated file opened

Sorry if this has been asked before, it didn't turn up in 2 searches & the 'check if already posted' thing didn't work for me, oddly. Anyway, should be simple but I'm not sure how to do it, or even phrase it!


In thunar I double click a jpg. This is associated with Geeqie. Geeqie opens at the top window, taking focus.
I go back to thunar and click a different jpb. Geeqie opens the file but remains in the background.


Any idea how to make it default to the foreground?

Looks like this is a Geeqie bug (http://sourceforge.net/p/geeqie/bugs/181/). There is a workaround in the bug report that you can use until it gets fixed.

Thanks Toz, stupid of me not to think to look in Geeqie specifically. I guess (wrongly) that it was a systemwise thing.
