Hi all,
I've been a Kubuntu 15 user for several weeks, last week for some reason the menu bar on the bottom of the screen now takes 3-5 minutes to display. Windows that I leave open from a previous desktop session, such as terminal, are instantly responsive and functional, I can use the computer fine as long as the windows I need are already open...but I need to wait 3-5 minutes (after login) for the menu bar to load to open anything new.
My PC is new/fast, it takes about 5 seconds for the desktop to show after login. Previously, the menu bar would be displayed when I logged in.
Something seems to have changed on my system to cause this problem, does anyone have any suggestions for what I can look at?
I'd like to avoid wipe/reinstall if possible, thank you
