what type of HDMI cable is needed for this laptop's port?

What is needed?
a) a full-size HDMI cable (Type A)
b) HDMI mini (type C) cable
c) something else.

You need a HDMI 1.3 Type A cable. You can purchase a HDMI 1.4a Type A cable and it will be backwards compatible too.
