Hi guys, hoping someone can help me I booted ubuntu from a USB and did a full install onto another USB, my issue is now whenever I try to boot without the USB I installed ubuntu onto I get stuck at grub-loader error and I cannot proceed.

Whenever I boot with the USB installed I can boot to windows or ubuntu fine?

I just want a ubuntu installation that is bootable only when the usb is present? can anyone help what I should do from here?

Running boot-repair and changing my window's boot order has fixed this problem.
