Hi,

I have a Medio Akoya P5307 PC (i7-4790, 16GB, SSD, HDD, GeForce 970 with 4 GB). Recently I installed Ubuntu in dual-mode with Windows 10. I can start the system, however the screen is essentially unusable. I have my computer connected to a Samsung Full HD monitor, and the effect I get is that in the upper quarter of the screen, I get two mini-screens next to each other with the Ubuntu logo. Directly below that, two identical mini-screens with the desktop. Mouse support does not work and everything appears so small that it is hard to read anything. Afterwards, I tried booting from a Linux Mint USB key installation - in this case I only get a black screen.

Any advice on what I can do? Any additional information needed?

Thanks
