Hi I'm trying to start chrubuntu on my HP 14 Chromebook after starting I get a three warranty notices and a whole lot of file directory's.
At the bottom I get -bash cannot create temp file for here-document- read only file system.

I have tried rebooting in safe mode, and any other solutions out there (of which there were none).
This seems to be a problem only I'm having.
Any help would be amazing.

:p

Are the warranty notices something unique to Chrubuntu or are they "System program problem detected" messages?

Otherwise, it may be related to this issues:

i cant copy paste it so, yeah

basically heres what i get- The The software in the ubuntu system is open end- therefore there is absolutely no warranty for the Ubuntu system, to the extent permitted by law.

then a whole lot of files and stuff /dir and the like.

Then i get the error message -bash cannot create temp file for here-document read only file system

I've gone through this guide over and over again: http://chromeos-cr48.blogspot.com/2013/10/chrubuntu-for-new-chromebooks-now-with.html

I'm sure I'm doing it right, but I have the same error. I get errors even doing "sudo mkdir mytestdir" telling me the drive is read only.
