Try again. I can hit them just fine. Try using some mirrors if your speed is exceptionally slow (you'll probably gain a lot of speed this way anyhow).

Yeah, I noticed the same thing happening with the default US mirror (horridly slow speeds from 2kB/s to 20 kB/s)... I switched over to ubuntu.cs.utah.edu as my mirror, and now I am pulling packages at about 1200 kB/s. If you are in the US, perhaps this will help you out, as well. If you need any help changing your sources.list, just ask! :)
